Abandoned and left to starve by its own owner, the Husky was reduced to skin and bones. After learning the reason behind it, everyone was outraged
When rescued, the husky was in a truly pitiful condition, its body reduced to skin and bones, and its fur ragged and tattered.
In mid-August, the animal rescue organization Pet Angels (Oklahoma, USA) found a husky dog that was emaciated and had lost all its fur. According to the Mirror , the dog had been chained up for nearly two years, abused by its owner as revenge against his ex-wife.
The dog, named Finn, was a gift from his wife to his owner. However, she soon filed for divorce. Unable to get revenge on his wife, the owner directed his anger towards Finn. He chained Finn outdoors for nearly two years, withheld food and water, deprived him of freedom to run and play, and left him to get dirty.
Finn was found emaciated, skin and bones, and completely hairless.
The dog had been starving for a long time.
Finn the dog would likely have starved to death if Pet Angels hadn’t arrived in time to rescue him. Despite being chained up for almost two years, emaciated and covered in sores, Finn still managed to walk when Pet Angels staff freed him. Everyone was amazed by Finn’s strength and will to live.
Later, Finn was adopted by a kind family. With good care and love, Finn grew healthier every day. Now, Finn weighs twice as much as he used to, and his smooth coat has grown back. He is now “a completely different dog,” full of life and incredibly adorable.
The abandoned dog is now happy and healthy again.
The people at Pet Angels believe this is probably the first time in Finn’s life he’s received such attentive care. “Finn’s adoptive family is truly wonderful; they’ve given Finn the best life possible,” Pet Angels commented about Finn’s current “parents.”
