On December 6th, on the Dog Lovers’ Association forum, a user named Dang Dinh Trung posted images of a dog being brutally abused by a young man.
According to the report, the assailant was the dog’s roommate. The dog was beaten so badly that it lost an eye and is in critical condition simply because it urinated on the bed.

“It’s so heartbreaking, guys! I was at work and not home, then my child’s leash came loose and he wet the bed on my roommate’s mattress, and she beat my child like this.” When he texted me saying he’d killed someone, I thought he was just kidding. But he actually did it.
“Right now, I’m asking my sister to look after the dog because I can’t come home yet. Normally, that person is so affectionate, petting and caressing, seemingly loving the dog. Who would have thought they would beat the dog so mercilessly like this?” the owner of the Poodle wrote.
The incident has sparked outrage and condemnation from many people regarding the young man’s cruel actions.
Dang Dinh Trung, the owner of the unfortunate dog, told Zing.vn that his “four-legged friend” is at the veterinary hospital and its condition is not promising. The dog is very weak and unable to eat much.
“My son’s eyes are still the same as they were on the first day, they haven’t gotten any better. When we took him to the emergency room, his eyes were even sticking out and had to be stitched up,” Trung recounted.
He said that his roommate regularly teased and petted the Poodle, and he never expected him to act so cruelly. After beating the dog, his roommate texted him to apologize, but he was very angry and did not reply.
Dinh Trung has had this Poodle for 8 months, ever since it was just 3 weeks old. He treats his pet like a best friend.

The dog’s owner revealed that he now cries whenever he sees his “little friend.” The dog is normally very well-behaved, adorable, and obedient.
Doctors at the clinic where the dog was treated said that when Poodle was brought in, his eye was bulging out, requiring urgent sutures to close the eyelid. Currently, the dog’s eye still has significant blood pooling, and the chances of saving it are very slim. The clinic is monitoring the dog’s condition and waiting for progress before proceeding with surgery to remove the eye.
NH – a neighbor of the dog that was beaten – confirmed that on December 6th, they saw Trung’s pet howling loudly in the room.
“At the time, I just thought the dog was being beaten by its owner for urinating inappropriately, so I didn’t dare defend it or intervene. I never imagined seeing the dog in such pain and in such a life-threatening situation. Looking at the picture, I felt so sorry for it,” H. said.
