Outrage grows after a dog lost an e:ye for simply peeing on a mattress — absolutely unacceptable
“Seeing my little dog lying motionless made me burst into tears. I wish I could take some of the pain for him,” shared the owner of the brutally abused dog.
On December 6, a user named Jone posted heartbreaking images of a dog that had been violently abused on a Vietnamese dog lovers’ forum.
According to the post, the attacker was the dog owner’s roommate. Because the dog accidentally urinated on the bed, the roommate brutally beat the animal, leaving one eye severely damaged and the dog fighting for its life.

“It hurts so much, everyone. I was at work and not home. My dog slipped off the leash and peed on my roommate’s mattress, and he beat my dog like this. When he texted me saying he had beaten the dog to death, I thought he was just angry and exaggerating. I never imagined he would actually do it.”
“Right now, my younger sister is helping take care of him because I still can’t get home. Normally, that roommate would pet him, cuddle him, and seemed like he loved dogs. I never thought he could be this cruel,” Jone wrote.
The story quickly sparked outrage online, with many people condemning the roommate’s brutal behavior.

Speaking to local media, Jone said his beloved Poodle was being treated at a veterinary hospital and remained in very critical condition.
“His eye still looks the same as the first day — no improvement. When we rushed him to emergency care, the eye was literally protruding out and had to be stitched back in place,” he said.
Jone explained that he had raised the dog for eight months, ever since it was just three weeks old, and considered the pet like his best friend.
“Every time I look at him now, I can’t stop crying. He’s normally such a sweet and obedient dog,” the owner shared emotionally.
A veterinarian treating the dog revealed that the injury was extremely severe.
When the dog arrived at the clinic, the eye was completely protruding and emergency surgery was needed to close the eyelids immediately. The eye remains badly bloodshot, and doctors say the chances of saving it are very slim. The clinic is monitoring the dog closely before deciding whether eye removal surgery will be necessary.
A neighbor later confirmed hearing the dog screaming loudly inside the room on December 6.
“At first, I thought the owner was just scolding the dog for peeing in the wrong place, so I didn’t interfere. I never imagined the dog would end up in such terrible condition. Seeing the photos now breaks my heart,” the neighbor said.
