Recently shared on social media, images of a skeletal dog, starved and thrown into a trash can to die, reportedly in Ho Chi Minh City, have garnered widespread attention.

A user with the nickname MH posted a picture of the dog along with the caption: “After being found by cleaning staff, the dog was taken to a veterinary clinic for emergency treatment. However, due to its extremely weak health, the dog passed away this morning, September 23rd.”

Meanwhile, on the BVN page, they shared in anguish, referring to the dog as “my younger sibling”: “They found her in a box in an empty field. Although we don’t know exactly what disease she had that caused her owner to abandon her, looking at her empty, dry belly…we can guess she must have been starving for at least a week.”
