“Tied up, muzzled, and thrown away like trash” — the heartbreaking image of a small dog lying helpless in the middle of the street left everyone who saw it both devastated and furious
Beneath the bandages were old necrotic burns, a terrible odor, and blood and pus leaking from paw pads that had peeled away and ulcerated down to the bone. Both of the dog’s hind legs had completely fallen off due to severe necrosis. Unable to cry for help, unable to walk, the little dog could only wait — not for a miracle, but perhaps for death.
Fortunately, a kind-hearted young woman brought the dog to a veterinary hospital. The doctors immediately administered medication to stop the bleeding and relieve the pain, desperately trying to save what remained of the front legs — though the hope was fragile…
Update: On the afternoon of April 21, both hind legs had to be amputated. The front legs are also in critical condition. After enduring so much suffering, does that tiny body still have the strength to keep fighting?
